These positions exist within the college of allied health & nursing. The incumbents will be required to teach course at the undergraduate level of the nursing programme in the classroom, laboratory and clinical settings.
The incumbents will also be required to play an active role in research agenda of the department.
Qualifications and experience:
• Master of science degree in nursing education
• Current registration as a nurse and midwife with the nursing council of Jamaica with related clinical experience.
• At least one year’s teaching experience in a basic nursing education programme.
• Current certification in cpr

• Be knowledgeable of and commited to the principles and mission of the seventh day Adventist church and it’s philosophy of education, and give witness of these values in their professional and Christian life;
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, integrity, dependability, sound judgment, teambuilding and resourcefulness to establish and maintain collaborative, positive, and effective working relationships with students and colleagues;
• Be actively concerned for students’ spiritual as well as academic welfare and feel responsible to assist them in the pursuit of worthy goals.
